Flossing is a chore, and orthodontic patients sometimes skip this important step for tooth and gum health. There are tools made for flossing with braces, but Invisalign patients can use regular floss. The Invisalign aligners come out easily, which allow patients to resume their normal oral hygiene routines. Many people brush and floss more often during Invisalign treatment. You’ll remove your aligners to eat and drink, and once you’ve finished your meal or snack, you’ll most likely clean your mouth before returning your aligners.
